It's the end of the year, and things have moved on. From marketing to business development, I'm going global. It's interesting to see how a family run business works - things can either move very fast or very slow.
Fast because there are few decision makers. Slow because at times, everybody wants to give their input. There needs to be a standard procedure that can be followed - for example, decisions affecting up to $100,000 can be made by X, decisions up to $250,000 can be made by Y etc etc. I think that would speed things up, without having to have everybody give their input.
Having said that, it's amazing to get input from the CXO level, they do have great insight at times. I think if they were CXO here, they would be CXO at another place, no doubting that.

Sometimes, in Malaysia there's a lot of racism among the 3 main races - Malay, Chinese and Indians. But after much thought, I realize that the Malays tend to be slightly racist because they are a weaker race, you can't blame them for trying to make up for their short comings.
Why It Sucks To Be Malay
1. You can't eat pork. Pork is the THE meat to eat, unfortunately, if you're Malay, you can't eat such good meat because it's... non halal. Poor guys.
2. During Puasa month, you can't have sex with your wife, or jack off, or smoke, or do anything sexy at all. It sucks to be you.
3. If you dye your hair any other color than black, you look like a twat. No style points for you.
4. You're naturally lazy. Nobody will hire you regardless of your qualifications, your entire race is known for their laziness.
5. You're instantly entitled to state sponsored education at all levels, but, the state sponsored education sucks. You will never be really well educated.
6. When you tell people that you're entitled to bumiputera rights, the girls don't really care.
7. Malays have small dicks. 'nuff said.
8. If you're really hardworking and smart and become really successful on your own, people think that you probably got help from the Government. You're seen to be unable to succeed on merit.
9. If you only have 3 kids, you're not considered to be fertile.
10. You can't drink alcohol. At all. No fine wine, champagne or whiskey or even beer. Stick with the Coca-Cola please.
So that's why it sucks to be Malay. Poor guys, they need all the help they can get....
