It's the end of the year, and things have moved on. From marketing to business development, I'm going global. It's interesting to see how a family run business works - things can either move very fast or very slow.

Fast because there are few decision makers. Slow because at times, everybody wants to give their input. There needs to be a standard procedure that can be followed - for example, decisions affecting up to $100,000 can be made by X, decisions up to $250,000 can be made by Y etc etc. I think that would speed things up, without having to have everybody give their input.

Having said that, it's amazing to get input from the CXO level, they do have great insight at times. I think if they were CXO here, they would be CXO at another place, no doubting that.

Time to touch the stars.
